We accept Rich Media Advertising, JPG, GIF and standard animation in the right column, left navigation and banner spaces of our sites. Static JPG, GIF and text advertising is accepted within the body of our pages. Animation and rich media may be accepted within the body of our sites on a case by case basis. Advertisements can be placed on one site within the portal or on a combination of sites to reach a larger demographic.

Banners can be divided into half banners in any location reserved for full banner advertising. Skyscrapers can also be divided into multiple Billboard ads. We accept most standard ad sizes and formats.

Banner Advertisement

GIF, JPG, animation and rich media banners are allowed on the Body1 portal. Banner ads appear under the article or in the middle of the right column on every page. Size is limited to 20k

Leader Board Banners

GIF, JPG, animation and rich media Leader Board Banners are allowed on the Body1 portal. Above the fold Leader Board banners appear just under our main logo and above our search bar on every page. Size is limited to 20k.

Portal Column (button) Advertisement

GIF, JPG and text portal column ads are supported, but animation is not allowed. Portal Column Ads are displayed nested into the front page of each site. No More than two Portal Column Ads will be displayed on one page. Size is limited to 10k.

Navigation Column (Button) Advertisement

GIF, JPG and Text ads can be displayed nested in the navigation column on the left of our portal. Rich media ads can not be displayed in the navigation column of the Body1 portal. Navigation Column Ads appear on every page within the site. Size is limited to 10k.

Home Page Text Ads

Home page text ads are included nested within the portal columns on every home page. A maximum of 90 characters are allowed. Only your company or product name may be bolded. A link to your site can be included on all or part of the text. Only one home page text ad appears within the column space on each portal. These ads only appear on the home pages of our portal.

Third-Party Servers

Third party ad servers are supported, provided they do not violate our creative specifications.

General Requirements

In addition to the above technical specifications, The Body1 Network also has the following requirements for creatives appearing on our site:

• Rich Media (Java, HTML, Shockwave, etc.) by prior approval only.
• No deceptive banners (Warnings, errors or other deliberately misleading content).
• No non user initiated loud sounds or music.
• No gambling or adult-oriented banners.
• No browser tampering of any kind.

Right of Refusal

Body1 reserves the right to reject any advertiser, creative, or target site for any reason. We reserve the right to terminate an advertising run in progress in the event that an advertiser violates any of the above requirements or the terms of the advertising and sponsorship policy.
