E-HEALTH/CONTENT INTERNSHIP/CO-OP

We currently seek a bright, ambitious undergraduate or graduate student to work on health content projects and grow with the company. Learn about the business of healthcare, HTML, and targeted patient communications. Have your work published on the web. This is a great opportunity to become involved in web health with one of the most visited online health networks.

Potential Responsibilities

• Writing and editing web health news content – articles, news blurbs, etc.
• Researching relevant health topics and brainstorming story ideas
• Organizing and summarizing articles for coding purposes
• Creating calls to action for existing stories
• Helping to build out freelance writer team
• Additional tasks as needed

Skills & Requirements

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school program in journalism, English, psychology, communications, or related field
• Superior written and interpersonal communication skills
• Reliable self-starter
• Ability to juggle more than one project at once, and work collaboratively
• Experience and interest in patient education and healthcare a plus

Compensation 

Start date and length of internship are flexible. Excellent performance may lead to full time or consulting work.
