TECHNOLOGY/NETWORK INTERNSHIP/ CO-OP

We currently seek a bright, ambitious undergraduate or graduate student to work on technology/ network projects and grow with the company. This individual will learn about the business of healthcare, targeted patient communications, and network technology. This is a great opportunity to become involved in web health with one of the most visited online health networks.

Potential Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of network architecture
• Maintenance of online health network
• Manage software and licenses
• Development of office network
• Documentation of technology processes
• Investigation and implementation of new methods and technology to enhance sites and increase productivity
• Additional tasks as needed

Skills & Requirements

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school program in computer science or related field
• Ability to monitor, recognize & analyze server performance & identify capacity and/or other problems/ opportunities
• Experience with Windows 2000/2003 administration & either Unix or MAC OS-X experience, IIS, web experience, Cisco routers/firewalls, & user support preferred
• SQL Admin, Cold Fusion, Veritas, & multimedia skills preferred
• Architecting & implementing high-availability infrastructure technologies in a Microsoft server environment a plus
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation

Start date and length of internship are flexible. Excellent performance may lead to full time or consulting work.
